Closed Captions

I recently tried my hand at adding captions to the War trailer on the Doc Film website. I originally thought a plain text file with the transcription would be enough, but as I learned, good captioning falls more under the area of copy editing than technical coding or programming. Basically, captioning is an editorial task and should not be treated as a web-specific task. With that in mind, I would suggest: 1) Provide a basic captioning style guide for the College. 2) Hire or train captioners to use the NCAM Media Access Generator (MAGpie).
