Drupal: Page headers

Page headers (Imageboxes) on department sites require three parts:
  1. A background image.
  2. Brief, descriptive heading and a link to an edited photoset or set of tagged photos on Flickr.
  3. A list of pages where the Imagebox should or shouldn't appear.

Quick and Easy Slideshows Using Flickr

Basic Slideshow

Example

Make your own:

  1. Upload photos to your Flickr account.
  2. Tag your photos (e.g. beca1000)
  3. From your main account page click on the Tags link.
  4. Click on the tag for the photos you want to include in your slideshow.
  5. On the tag page click on the View as slideshow link.

Embed the Slideshow in a Webpage

  1. Copy and paste the following code into your blog post or webpage:
  2. Use your browser to view the source code of the slideshow you just created
  3. Use the find option to search for: insert_user_SlideShow
  4. Copy and paste the user_id into the code from step 1.
    (insert_user_SlideShow('swfdiv', 
    '13460537@N03', 'beca1000', '', '', '');)
  5. Enter the tag for the photos to be displayed into the code from step 1.
